What is the geographic projection used in your database?

I’m a student in engineering school and I need the data of the cell towers geolocalisation in France. when I use these data, I have a problem of projection, the towers are not in the right place. What is the projection of these data please ?

Hey Mateo,

The cells are an approximation based on contributions by the community. There is always a chance that the location is off by 300-1500 meters

Also, we report position of cells, not cell towers. Each cell tower has multiple cells.

Hi Sagar,

Could you possibly go into some detail on how a lat/lon co-ordinate created for a cell? Is an average taken for a particular cell_id which is then used to plot the co-ordinate in the centre of the cell?
