I only just started using the GUI & API to find the tower location to which a ship I monitor is connected (via a Peplink unit). The first test, the ship was reporting:
MCC=302
MNC=610
LAC=45006
Cell ID=44777
The tower popped up perfectly. Great!
Checking today, the ship is reporting the tower as:
MCC=302
MNC=610
TAC=11501
Cell ID=41769
But this gives no match in the database. Do I need to do something different with TAC reporting, or did I just happen to hit a tower that is not mapped?
