Hello,
I’m brand new to the community, so I hope my question isn’t too stupid:
I’m working on a project where I have the MCC, MNC, LAC and the CellID of a call, as well as the WGS84 position of the station. Now I want to get the position of the mobile device (or at least a rough estimate). Is there any way to do this?
Thank you very much for your help!

you won’t be able to get the mobile device position, only the station position

Thanks for your answer, but why? The information of the position of the mobile device is decoded in the data, isn’t it?
When i use the application on the homepage (OpenCelliD - Largest Open Database of Cell Towers & Geolocation - by Unwired Labs) I can get the area from the given data.
Тhis is wrong. Position information is not transmitted. To put it simply, the TA parameter is transmitted Timing advance - Wikipedia knowing this parameter from several BTS (3 minimum) the location can be determined by triangulation. But according to your description you only have MCC, MNC, LAC and the CellID
